At Mindox, your privacy is our top priority. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect your data.
1. What We Collect
- Focus session data (timers, streaks, scores) — stored locally in your browser via Chrome Storage API.
- Blocked site list & channel whitelist — stored locally, never sent to our servers.
- Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics — feature usage counts not linked to your identity.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- Your browsing history or visited URLs.
- The content of any webpage you visit.
- Any personally identifiable information without your consent.
- We do not sell your data — ever.
3. Chrome Permissions Explained
- webRequest — to block requests to sites on your list during focus sessions.
- tabs — to detect navigation to blocked sites.
- storage — to save your settings and focus data locally.
- alarms — to manage your focus timer in the background.
4. Payments
Paid plans are processed via Razorpay (India) and Stripe (international). We never store card details.
5. Children
Mindox is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
